It's the Holy Week, and as a Filipino and Catholic tradition, I went to a visita Iglesia (church visit) with some friends - Ann, Ron, Toti, Clyde and Toti's family. The tradition is to visit churches during Maundy Thursday or Good Friday and do the Stations of the Cross and say the Rosary at the same time.
First we visited Claret in UP Village, then went to the Church of Holy Sacrifice in UP Diliman. Afterwards we went to La Estrada in Katipunan Ave. then to the Manila Cathedral and the San Agustin Church in Intramuros. We wanted to go to Malate and Paco but the churches were already closed.
The San Agustin Church (pic) in Intramuros is one of the baroque churches in the country to be included in the World Heritage list.
